What is your Grandland X telling you?
The Grandland X handbook distinguishes between low-AdBlue warnings and emissions-system faults. You may see a request to top up the emissions additive, an emissions fault message, or a countdown until starting is prevented. The AdBlue warning can also appear alongside service and engine warning lights.
Before contacting us, photograph the complete message while safely parked. Include any remaining mileage and tell us whether the car currently starts. That gives us more useful information than a description of the warning symbol alone.
Why does the warning stay on after a refill?
A refill may not have been recognised, or the warning may concern an emissions fault rather than low fluid. Vauxhall’s October 2018 Grandland X handbook includes a procedure for an unrecognised refill and advises seeking assistance if it is still not detected. Use the handbook for your particular vehicle.
Do not assume another bottle will resolve an emissions fault. Tell us when you topped up, roughly how much you added and whether the message changed. We do not identify a failed component from a dashboard photo alone.
Which Grandland X versions use AdBlue?
Vauxhall’s May 2018 specification document lists the Grandland X 1.5 Turbo D BlueInjection and explains that BlueInjection vehicles require AdBlue top-ups. Vauxhall describes BlueInjection as its diesel exhaust-treatment technology using AdBlue. We confirm your vehicle’s specification from the registration rather than assuming every diesel version is the same.
Vehicle specification and service suitability are separate checks. Not every vehicle is suitable for our software work, so we check the registration before quoting. Please also mention any previous software changes you know about.
How AdBlue Solutions can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. On a suitable vehicle, we change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown.
This is software work only. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts, and the service does not fix unrelated engine faults. If your Grandland X has other symptoms, include those in your enquiry so the scope of the job is clear.
After checking suitability and agreeing the quote, we arrange a mobile visit to your home, workplace or another safe location, subject to availability. You do not need to arrange a visit to our premises.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
We offer Experienced Technicians and a Nationwide Mobile Service Across England for suitable cars and vans. Read our genuine Google reviews when deciding whether to book. Our No Fix, No Fee commitment is straightforward: If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.

Customer FAQs
Can I ignore the countdown if the car still drives?
No. The Grandland X handbook describes a final warning stage at which restarting is prevented. Arrange help before the countdown runs out rather than treating it as a routine reminder.
Will topping up always clear the warning?
No. A low-level warning and an emissions fault are different. Refilling addresses the fluid level, but it should not be assumed to resolve a separate emissions-system fault.
Does AdBlue Removal mean taking the tank out?
No. Our AdBlue Removal service changes the engine computer’s software. We do not physically remove the tank or replace any components.
Can you help if my Grandland X will not start?
Contact us with the registration and exact warning. We check suitability before accepting the job and cannot promise that AdBlue software work will resolve an unrelated starting fault.
Is an engine remap included?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap and other additional software services are quoted separately, subject to suitability. They are not free with AdBlue work.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
