Vehicle suitability
BMW made AdBlue standard across the 3 Series diesel range from spring 2018, and the 320d from 2019 onwards uses it too. Earlier 320d cars need checking individually. Petrol and plug-in hybrid 3 Series don't use AdBlue. We confirm your exact car from the registration.

From AdBlue pressure faults to NOx sensor warnings and SCR system problems, explore common diagnostic codes in simple English.
These are shared diagnostic codes, not confirmed faults for every BMW 320d. Applicability depends on your vehicle and scan results.
