What it means
AdBlue Delete & Removal
We are mobile AdBlue specialists, so we come to you at your home, workplace or depot. First, we perform a full diagnostic scan to confirm that the AdBlue system is the root cause of your issues. Our technicians then read the software from your Boxer's Engine Control Unit (ECU) and apply a custom modification to deactivate the AdBlue system, which we call an AdBlue Delete or AdBlue Removal. Some newer models have protected ECUs that may require unlocking at an additional cost, which we will confirm beforehand. We can also quote for optional extras like performance or economy remaps, which can be applied at the same time, subject to vehicle suitability.
Vehicle suitability
Does my Peugeot Boxer have AdBlue? For your Peugeot Boxer, we check the registration, engine, build specification and ECU details rather than assuming fitment or service support from its age or badge. If you have an older Boxer van with an engine simply badged 'HDi', it will not have an AdBlue system from the factory. The fully electric Peugeot e-Boxer also does not use AdBlue. The definitive way for us to check your van's exact emissions system is by using your registration number, so please have it ready when you contact us.
Found a fault code during a diagnostic scan? Enter it below to understand what it could mean, what warning signs to look out for and what information our mobile AdBlue specialists need to help you.
From AdBlue pressure faults to NOx sensor warnings and SCR system problems, explore common diagnostic codes in simple English.
These are shared diagnostic codes, not confirmed faults for every Peugeot Boxer. Applicability depends on your vehicle and scan results.
8 common codes
Fault name
What it means
The system has reported insufficient reductant pressure. Diagnostic checks help establish the cause, rather than assuming a failed pump.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
SCR NOx reduction efficiency has been reported below its expected threshold. The full scan and sensor readings help identify possible causes.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns SCR operation or monitoring. Read it alongside the full scan and vehicle-specific information.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a dosing or aftertreatment injector. Check the fitted system and full scan before assuming a cause.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The system reports that the reductant level is too low. Check the actual fluid level and whether the reported level is accurate.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The system has reported reductant quality performance. The code alone does not identify the cause.

Yes, this is a very common scenario. It usually indicates a fault with the sensor in the tank, not the fluid level. Our software solution can resolve the warnings this fault causes.
Do not ignore it. The van will not start once the countdown ends. Contact us with your registration and postcode, and we can arrange for a technician to visit, subject to availability.
Some later model ECUs have extra protection from the manufacturer. Unlocking is a specialist bench process required before we can apply the software solution. We can confirm if this is needed and provide a full quote before any work begins.
The engine badge or model year alone does not confirm AdBlue fitment or software support for your Peugeot Boxer. Send your registration so we can check the engine, emissions specification and ECU details before confirming suitability and a quote.
They are just two different names for the exact same service. It is a software only modification to the engine's control unit; no parts are physically removed from the van.
