What is causing the warning?
A yellow AdBlue low-supply warning means the fluid needs topping up within the displayed remaining range. Follow your van’s handbook and the instructions on the display rather than guessing how much to add.
An SCR system fault message is different from a low-level reminder. The warning alone does not identify a particular failed component. If the red SCR fault light appears, Volkswagen says to stop the van as soon as it is safe. Do not keep driving simply to see whether it clears.
What T6.1 owners need to know
Volkswagen’s 2022 Transporter 6.1 brochure lists AdBlue equipment for the 2.0 TDI diesel engines shown. That supports AdBlue use on those versions, but it is not a reason to assume every Transporter has the same setup. We confirm your vehicle details from the registration.
When you contact us, include the exact wording, any remaining mileage and whether the van still starts. Tell us about recent refills, previous software work and any other warning lights. A clear dashboard photo helps us understand what you are seeing without relying on a description of the symbol.
How our mobile software service helps
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same service. We change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown.
We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts. The work does not fix unrelated engine faults, and a separate warning should not be assumed to have the same cause. Not every vehicle is suitable, so the registration check comes before a quote or appointment.
For a suitable Transporter, we arrange a mobile visit to your home, workplace or another safe place, subject to availability. Explain any parking or access restrictions when booking so we can agree a suitable location.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
We offer Experienced Technicians and Nationwide Mobile Service Across England, with genuine Google reviews available to read before booking. You receive a clear explanation of the software service and its limits.
Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.
The Lifetime Software Warranty applies to our software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Appointments and emergency callouts
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Mobile appointments are subject to availability, so contact us with your postcode before making arrangements around a visit.
24/7 emergency callouts are available, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch. If your van will not start, say so at the beginning of your enquiry and give its current location.
How to book in three steps
Start with the details below. You do not need to identify the fault yourself before contacting us.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details, ideally with a photo, by WhatsApp. You can also call or use the quote form.
- 2. We check vehicle suitability, discuss the warning and provide a quote for the agreed software work.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at your home, work or another safe location, subject to availability.

Customer FAQs
Will an AdBlue warning stop my Transporter starting?
A low AdBlue level can prevent starting. Volkswagen’s red AdBlue-level guidance specifically says the engine cannot be started because the level is too low. Follow the displayed instructions and handbook, and do not treat a remaining-range warning as something to ignore.
What should I do if the warning stays after refilling?
Check that you followed the handbook’s refill instructions and read the exact message again. A system-fault warning should not be treated as another low-fluid reminder. Send us a photo and tell us when and how much you added.
Does AdBlue Removal mean taking the tank out?
No. Our service is software only. We change how the engine computer runs and monitors the AdBlue system; we do not physically remove the tank or other components.
Can you guarantee suitability from the model name?
No. Being a Transporter T6.1 does not automatically make the van suitable for our service. We check from the registration before quoting and discuss any previous software changes you tell us about.
Can I book other software work separately?
Yes, subject to suitability. We offer Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap and Stage 2 Remap, which needs suitable supporting modifications. DPF Delete and EGR Delete are also software-only services. All additional work is quoted separately and is never free with AdBlue work.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
