What is your Mondeo warning telling you?
Start with the wording on the display, rather than the light alone. Ford distinguishes between low fluid warnings and faults in the AdBlue system. Photograph the complete message while safely parked, including any remaining distance.
A system fault warning does not identify which part is responsible. We cannot confirm the cause from a dashboard photo alone, but the wording helps us understand your enquiry.
- Low fluid or refill reminder: check the level and follow your vehicle handbook's refill instructions.
- System fault or service required: the system has detected a malfunction.
- No-start countdown: an empty tank or detected system fault can prevent a subsequent restart.
Why does the warning stay on after a refill?
Adding AdBlue addresses a low fluid level, not every system fault. Ford notes that recognition of a refill from empty can take a short period. A warning with sufficient fluid can indicate a malfunction rather than a need for more AdBlue.
Do not keep adding fluid just because the warning remains. Follow the handbook and avoid overfilling. When you contact us, say when you topped up, roughly how much you added and whether the message changed afterwards.
Which Ford Mondeos use AdBlue?
The Mondeo's later 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engines use AdBlue. Ford's 2019 model announcement describes these engines with AdBlue injection, while its UK brochure lists the EcoBlue range. This does not mean every diesel Mondeo has the same system.
We confirm the vehicle details from your registration before quoting. Not every vehicle is suitable, so there is no need to guess your engine version or choose a service based on the registration year alone.
How AdBlue Solutions can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. We change the engine computer's software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown on suitable vehicles.
This is software work only. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts, and the service does not fix unrelated engine faults. Tell us about any other warnings or running problems before booking so the scope of the work is clear.
After checking suitability, we arrange a mobile visit to your home, workplace or another safe place, subject to availability. If your Mondeo will not start, tell us its exact location and any access restrictions when enquiring.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
Our Experienced Technicians provide a Nationwide Mobile Service Across England for cars and vans. You can read genuine Google reviews before booking. Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: "If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge."
The Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. Any additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
Book mobile help in three steps
Have the warning details ready when you contact us. A clear photo helps avoid confusion between a low-level reminder, a system fault and a countdown.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning photo by WhatsApp, call with the details, or submit the quote form. Include whether the car starts.
- 2. We check suitability and provide a quote for the agreed software work.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at a safe, accessible location, subject to availability.

Customer FAQs
Will topping up clear my Mondeo's AdBlue warning?
It can resolve a low-level warning once the refill is recognised. It will not necessarily resolve a system malfunction. Check the exact message rather than assuming more fluid is needed.
What happens when the countdown reaches zero?
The AdBlue system can prevent the engine from restarting. Ford lists no-start warnings for both an empty tank and detected system faults. Contact us before the remaining distance runs out.
Does AdBlue Removal mean taking out the tank?
No. Our service changes the engine computer's software. We do not physically remove the tank or replace, fit, repair or clean AdBlue components.
Can you help if my Mondeo is already at home and will not start?
We can check suitability and mobile availability from your registration, postcode and warning details. Explain that it will not start when enquiring. We do not promise that software work will resolve an unrelated starting fault.
Is an engine remap included?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap and Stage 2 Remap are quoted separately. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications. DPF Delete and EGR Delete are also separate, software-only services, subject to suitability.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
