What is your Peugeot 308 warning telling you?
Peugeot’s 308 handbook distinguishes between low AdBlue and a fault in the SCR emissions system. Depending on the version and warning stage, you may see a UREA light, a service light, an engine warning or a remaining-distance message.
When contacting us, include the complete message rather than just saying the engine light is on. Tell us whether the car currently starts and whether you have already added AdBlue.
- Photograph the warning while safely parked.
- Include any remaining mileage shown.
- Mention other warnings or changes in how the car runs.
Why the light can come on
Low fluid is one explanation, but tank-related faults are another recognised issue. Peugeot acknowledges urea tank problems affecting certain vehicles fitted with SCR technology. That does not mean your 308 needs a tank replacement simply because a warning appears.
The dashboard message alone is not a diagnosis. If you have topped up and the warning remains, keep a note of how much you added and when. A refill addresses a shortage of fluid, not every possible system fault. Peugeot’s handbook treats those situations separately.
Which Peugeot 308 versions use AdBlue?
Peugeot’s BlueHDi diesel technology uses AdBlue with SCR exhaust treatment, including BlueHDi versions of the 308. Do not assume every diesel 308 has the same equipment. We confirm your vehicle details from the registration before quoting.
Use the handbook that matches your own car for refill instructions. If you have a starting countdown, contact us before leaving arrangements until the last moment. Tell us immediately if starting is already prevented so we can assess the enquiry properly.
How our mobile software service helps
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. We change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown.
This is not physical removal or a parts repair. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean components, and the work does not fix unrelated engine faults. Not every vehicle is suitable, so the registration check comes first.
Once suitability is confirmed, we can arrange a mobile visit to your home, workplace or another safe place in England, subject to availability. Let us know about access restrictions or limited parking when booking.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
We offer experienced technicians and nationwide mobile service across England. You can read genuine Google reviews before deciding whether to book. Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
Book help in three steps
Have your vehicle details ready so we can check the right Peugeot 308 and explain what we can offer. You can start by WhatsApp, telephone or the quote form.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details, ideally with a clear photo of the dashboard message.
- 2. We check suitability and provide a quote for the software work.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at a safe, accessible location, subject to availability.

Customer FAQs
Will topping up clear my Peugeot 308 AdBlue warning?
It may resolve a low-level warning when you follow the correct handbook procedure. A confirmed SCR fault is different and may remain despite a refill.
What happens when the starting countdown reaches zero?
The system can prevent the engine from restarting. Do not treat the countdown as an ordinary service reminder. Tell us the remaining distance when enquiring.
Do you remove the AdBlue tank?
No. Our AdBlue Removal service changes software only. We do not remove tanks or carry out any other physical parts work.
Can you help if my 308 will not start?
Contact us with the exact warning and confirm that the car will not start. We check suitability before accepting the job and cannot promise to resolve an unrelated starting fault.
Is an engine remap included?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap and other additional software services are quoted separately. They are not free extras with AdBlue work.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
