What does the warning or countdown mean?
A recharge message asks you to replenish the AdBlue supply. Volkswagen explains that ignoring low-level warnings can eventually prevent the engine restarting once the ignition has been switched off. Follow your vehicle handbook’s refill instructions rather than waiting for the countdown to run out.
A message describing an AdBlue system fault needs a different response from a straightforward top-up reminder. When contacting us, include the whole message, any remaining distance and whether the car currently starts. If you have already added fluid, tell us when and how much.
Does every diesel Volkswagen Polo use AdBlue?
Do not assume that a diesel badge alone confirms AdBlue fitment. The sixth-generation Polo’s 1.6 TDI engines were offered with SCR, the exhaust treatment system that uses AdBlue. Volkswagen’s UK January 2018 brochure lists these diesel versions, while its launch information confirms their SCR equipment.
We confirm your Polo’s specification and service suitability from the registration. You do not need to identify an engine code or understand the system before getting in touch.
Why might the warning stay on after refilling?
Low fluid and a system malfunction are different causes of an AdBlue warning. Adding fluid addresses the first, but it does not establish that the system is working correctly. Manufacturer guidance also identifies unsuitable AdBlue as a possible reason for an SCR fault warning.
If you have followed the handbook’s refill instructions and the warning remains, seek an assessment rather than repeatedly adding more. Send us a clear dashboard photo and any existing diagnostic report. We use those details alongside your registration to discuss whether our software service is suitable, without guessing which component is responsible.
How AdBlue Solutions can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. We change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts, and this work does not fix unrelated engine faults.
Not every vehicle is suitable. Once we have checked your registration and agreed the work, we can visit your home, workplace or another safe location across England, subject to availability. Tell us about access restrictions and whether the Polo can be moved when you enquire.
Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap, Stage 2 Remap, DPF Delete and EGR Delete are separate software services, subject to suitability and quoted separately. None is free with AdBlue work. Stage 2 requires suitable supporting modifications, which we do not supply or fit.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
Our Experienced Technicians provide a Nationwide Mobile Service Across England, with genuine Google reviews available to read before booking. Our No Fix, No Fee commitment is straightforward: “If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.”
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.

Customer FAQs
Does an AdBlue countdown always mean something is broken?
No. A low AdBlue supply can trigger a countdown towards a restart restriction without a component fault. Check the wording and follow the handbook’s instructions.
Can you help if my Polo will not start?
Contact us with the registration, location and exact warning. We check whether the vehicle and reported problem are suitable for our service. We cannot promise to resolve a no-start caused by an unrelated fault.
Will you remove the AdBlue tank?
No. AdBlue Removal is our name for software work, not physical removal. We do not take out, replace, repair or clean the tank or other components.
Can I book without a diagnostic report?
Yes. Start with your registration, postcode and a warning photo. Include a report if you already have one, but you do not need one simply to make an enquiry.
Will the work clear every engine warning?
No. The service addresses AdBlue operation, monitoring and related warnings. Other engine problems are outside its scope, so tell us about every warning and symptom before booking.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
