What is your C4 Picasso telling you?
You may see an AdBlue light, an emissions fault message, or a warning that starting will be prevented after a stated distance. The SERVICE and engine warning lights can also appear alongside an SCR emissions-system fault. SCR is the system that uses AdBlue to treat exhaust emissions.
When you contact us, include the complete message rather than just saying an amber light is on. Tell us whether the car currently starts, whether you have added AdBlue and what distance remains on any countdown. Take the photo while safely parked.
Which C4 Picasso versions use AdBlue?
C4 Picasso BlueHDi diesels use AdBlue. Do not assume that every diesel C4 Picasso has the same system: the BlueHDi engine designation matters, rather than the model name alone. Citroën’s handbook identifies AdBlue specifically with BlueHDi engines.
We confirm the vehicle details from your registration. That check also helps establish whether our software service is suitable for your particular car before you arrange an appointment.
Low fluid, a persistent fault or a countdown?
For a straightforward low-level warning, follow the topping-up instructions in your vehicle’s handbook. Citroën advises topping up when the reserve-level alert appears. A low-fluid warning alone does not establish that you need software work.
If you have already refilled and the warning remains, do not assume more fluid is the answer. The handbook distinguishes low AdBlue from an SCR system fault, so a refill should not be treated as a guaranteed cure for an emissions fault. The warning alone does not identify a failed component.
Take a no-start countdown seriously. Citroën explains that an empty AdBlue tank or a confirmed SCR fault can lead to starting being prevented. Arrange help before the displayed distance runs out rather than waiting to see whether the message disappears.
How AdBlue Solutions can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for our same software service. On a suitable vehicle, we change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown.
This is software work only. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean parts, and the service does not fix unrelated engine faults. Not every vehicle is suitable, which is why the registration check comes before the quote.
Our mobile technicians can visit your home, workplace or another safe place across England, subject to availability. Tell us where the car is parked and whether it starts when you enquire, so we can discuss a suitable appointment.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
We offer Experienced Technicians, Nationwide Mobile Service Across England and genuine Google reviews you can read before booking. Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
Book your mobile appointment in three steps
Start with the vehicle details and the warning you can see. You do not need to identify the fault yourself before contacting us.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details, ideally with a photo, by WhatsApp. You can also call or use the quote form.
- 2. We check suitability and provide a quote, explaining what the software service covers.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at your home, work or another safe location, subject to availability.

Customer FAQs
Can you help if my C4 Picasso will not start?
Contact us with a photo of the message and tell us the car will not start. We check suitability first. Our AdBlue software service does not resolve unrelated reasons for a car failing to start.
Does AdBlue Removal mean taking the tank out?
No. It is the same software service as AdBlue Delete. We change the engine computer’s software; we do not remove or replace the tank or other parts.
Can you visit my workplace?
Yes, subject to availability and a safe place to work on the vehicle. Send the workplace postcode and mention any parking or access restrictions when booking.
Is an economy or performance remap included?
No. Economy Remap and Performance Remap are additional software services, checked for suitability and quoted separately. They are not free with AdBlue work.
What should I mention if the car has had previous software work?
Tell us about any previous remapping, software updates or recalls when you enquire. Include whatever details you have so we can consider them during the suitability check.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
