What is your A8 actually telling you?
Start with the full dashboard message rather than the warning symbol alone. Audi distinguishes between low-fluid messages and system-fault messages, so do not assume every AdBlue warning needs another bottle.
When you contact us, tell us whether the car starts, whether you have already topped up and whether any other warning lights are showing. Include the remaining mileage if there is a countdown.
- Photograph the complete message while safely parked.
- Note when the warning first appeared.
- Tell us how much AdBlue you added, if any.
Common causes and warnings after refilling
A low AdBlue level is one straightforward cause. Audi's UK guidance confirms that equipped cars alert drivers when a top-up is needed. Follow your own handbook and dashboard instructions for the correct refill procedure.
A system-fault message is different. Audi's technical guidance explains that these warnings can indicate an emissions-system malfunction rather than low fluid. Adding more AdBlue does not address that distinction.
If you have already refilled, send us the message that is showing now. We do not identify a failed component from a photograph alone, and our service does not include replacing, fitting, repairing or cleaning parts.
Which Audi A8 models use AdBlue?
Audi's 2017 UK A8 brochure lists AdBlue tanks for the 3.0 TDI quattro and 4.2 TDI quattro versions. That supports those particular examples, not a blanket claim about every diesel A8 ever built. We confirm your vehicle's details from its registration.
If your display includes a no-restart countdown, take it seriously. Audi's guidance shows that both refill and fault warnings can lead to a restart restriction. Do not wait for the remaining distance to run out before seeking help.
How AdBlue Solutions can help
AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for the same software service. On a suitable vehicle, we change the engine computer's software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown. This does not fix unrelated engine faults.
Not every A8 is suitable. We check from the registration before quoting and discuss the warning details with you. If suitable, we arrange a mobile visit to your home, workplace or another safe place, subject to availability.
Our standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
Why choose AdBlue Solutions?
We offer Experienced Technicians and Nationwide Mobile Service Across England. You can read genuine Google reviews before deciding whether to book. We explain the software work and its limits so you know what the appointment covers.
Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: "If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge."
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Book your mobile appointment in three steps
Have your vehicle details ready so we can check the right A8 and understand what is happening. If the car already will not start, make that clear when you first contact us.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details, ideally with a photo, by WhatsApp. Alternatively, call or use the quote form.
- 2. We check suitability and provide a quote, explaining what the proposed software service covers.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at a safe, accessible location, subject to availability.
Customer FAQs
Can you help if my A8 already will not start?
Contact us with the exact warning and your location. We check suitability before agreeing a visit. We cannot promise that AdBlue software work will resolve a no-start caused by an unrelated fault.
Does AdBlue Removal mean taking the tank out?
No. Our AdBlue Removal service is software only. We do not remove the tank or replace, fit, repair or clean any components.
Can I book without knowing my engine version?
Yes. Send your registration rather than guessing. We use it to check the vehicle's details and suitability before providing a quote.
Are remapping services included?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap, Stage 2 Remap, DPF Delete and EGR Delete are separate software services, quoted separately. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications, and vehicle suitability must be checked.
What should I mention about previous software work?
Tell us about any previous remap, software update or recall work you know about. If you have paperwork describing it, include that with your enquiry.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
