What does your BMW 320d warning mean?
Read the full message rather than relying on the warning symbol alone. A request to refill and a system malfunction message are not the same thing. The AA distinguishes between low AdBlue warnings and warnings about a malfunction or incorrect fluid.
If a remaining range or no-start warning appears, do not ignore it. Running out of AdBlue can prevent the engine restarting once switched off. Follow your vehicle handbook and ask for help before the situation becomes more urgent.

Why is the warning still on after a refill?
For a straightforward low-level warning, topping up correctly will normally clear the message, although the refill may not register immediately. Follow the instructions for your particular BMW rather than guessing the quantity or repeatedly adding more fluid.
If the message stays on, send us its exact wording and explain what you added. A system malfunction is a separate possibility from low fluid, so a full tank alone does not establish that everything is working correctly. The warning itself does not identify which component, if any, has failed.
Does every BMW 320d use AdBlue?
Do not assume every 320d has the same emissions equipment. BMW made SCR with AdBlue standard across the 3 Series diesel range from spring 2018. That announcement does not establish the equipment fitted to every earlier car.
We confirm your vehicle details from the registration. Having AdBlue fitted does not automatically make a car suitable for our software service, so we check before offering a quote.

Should I book software work for a simple refill warning?
Not automatically. If the message only requests fluid, follow your BMW handbook's refill instructions first. A low-level warning will normally clear after a correct top-up registers.
Can you help if my BMW 320d will not start?
Contact us with the registration and a photo of the message, and say that it will not start. We check suitability before agreeing work. We cannot promise to resolve a no-start caused by an unrelated fault.
Will you replace my AdBlue tank or sensors?
No. Our AdBlue service is software only. We do not replace, fit, repair or clean tanks, sensors, pumps or other parts.
Are remaps included with AdBlue work?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap, Stage 2 Remap, DPF Delete and EGR Delete are separate software services, quoted separately. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications.
What should I mention before booking?
Include previous software changes, any recent updates or recalls, other warning messages and whether you have topped up. This gives us useful context alongside your registration, postcode and warning photo.
