01Understanding the service
Manufacturers use different names. Peugeot and Citroën often say UREA, most others say AdBlue, and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is the American term. It is the same fluid, so UREA Delete and AdBlue Delete describe the same software service.
A UREA warning can mean the tank is low, but it often stays on after a refill because the system itself has a fault, such as a pump, injector, tank or NOx sensor problem. The exact message wording varies by model. Some vehicles then start a countdown to no restart.
Delete and Removal are two names for the same software service. On a suitable vehicle, we change the engine software so it no longer runs or monitors the UREA system. Some newer vehicles need an ECU unlock first, which is charged separately and confirmed before work begins.
If you want the original system repaired, a main dealer or garage can help. If you'd like the software service instead, send us your registration and we'll check whether your vehicle is suitable.
From booking to completion, our experienced mobile technicians make the process straightforward.
We confirm your vehicle, location, service and appointment.
On the day, your technician calls with an estimated arrival time.
We connect diagnostic equipment, check the vehicle and identify relevant faults.
We read the original ECU software, prepare the AdBlue modification and apply it.
Final diagnostics, applicable fault-code resets and checks to confirm the agreed work is complete.
We take payment, provide a receipt and explain the applicable software warranty.

8 common codes
Fault name
What it means
The system has reported insufficient reductant pressure. Diagnostic checks help establish the cause, rather than assuming a failed pump.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
SCR NOx reduction efficiency has been reported below its expected threshold. The full scan and sensor readings help identify possible causes.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns SCR operation or monitoring. Read it alongside the full scan and vehicle-specific information.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The code concerns a dosing or aftertreatment injector. Check the fitted system and full scan before assuming a cause.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The system reports that the reductant level is too low. Check the actual fluid level and whether the reported level is accurate.
VIEW FAULT DETAILSFault name
What it means
The system has reported reductant quality performance. The code alone does not identify the cause.
