01Understanding the service
Your WhatsApp quote checklist
Start with your registration and a short description of what happened. AdBlue/SCR fitment varies by model, engine and year, so please send your registration if you are unsure whether your vehicle has the system. Registration details are a starting point, not confirmation of the installed ECU software.
- Full vehicle registration
- Postcode where the vehicle is currently parked
- Make, model, approximate mileage and engine details if known
- Clear photos of dashboard warnings and any countdown
- Whether the engine starts and whether power is reduced
- Any diagnostic report, recent repairs or AdBlue refill details
Photograph the warning and countdown
Capture the exact message and remaining distance, if displayed. Say whether the warning is constant or intermittent and when it first appeared. A refill warning, an SCR fault warning and a no-start countdown are not interchangeable. Photos help explain the symptoms, but testing may be needed to distinguish fluid, dosing, pressure, sensor or wiring problems.
Send the complete diagnostic report
Include all recorded codes, their descriptions and any available status or freeze-frame information. P20EE generally indicates SCR NOx catalyst efficiency below threshold on bank 1; P207F refers to reductant quality performance, and P204F to reductant system performance on bank 1. These codes do not identify a failed component by themselves. P2002 concerns particulate filter efficiency rather than specifically AdBlue, but it should still be included if recorded. Manufacturer-specific information and test results are needed to interpret the full picture.
Tell us about access and availability
Provide the vehicle's current postcode so coverage and appointment availability can be checked. Mention height restrictions, parking access and whether the vehicle is at home, at work or awaiting recovery. Do not assume a roadside location is suitable for diagnostic work; explain the situation before arranging attendance.
- Location and any access restrictions
- Preferred contact and appointment times
- Whether the vehicle can start or be moved
- Whether it is parked somewhere safe to work

Check Your AdBlue Fault Code
Enter a diagnostic code to explore its meaning and the information to send with your enquiry.
8 common codes
- P20E8
Fault name
Reductant pressure too low
What it means
The system has reported insufficient reductant pressure. Diagnostic checks help establish the cause, rather than assuming a failed pump.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P20EE
Fault name
SCR NOx catalyst efficiency below threshold
What it means
SCR NOx reduction efficiency has been reported below its expected threshold. The full scan and sensor readings help identify possible causes.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P204F
Fault name
Reductant system performance, bank 1
What it means
The code concerns SCR operation or monitoring. Read it alongside the full scan and vehicle-specific information.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P2200
Fault name
NOx sensor circuit, bank 1
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P229F
Fault name
NOx sensor circuit range/performance, bank 1 sensor 2
What it means
The code concerns a NOx sensor circuit or signal. It does not alone confirm which part needs attention.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P2047
Fault name
Reductant injection valve circuit/open, bank 1 unit 1
What it means
The code concerns a dosing or aftertreatment injector. Check the fitted system and full scan before assuming a cause.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P203F
Fault name
Reductant level too low
What it means
The system reports that the reductant level is too low. Check the actual fluid level and whether the reported level is accurate.
VIEW FAULT DETAILS - P207F
Fault name
Reductant quality performance
What it means
The system has reported reductant quality performance. The code alone does not identify the cause.

ADBLUE WARNING ON YOUR DASHBOARD?
Send us your registration, postcode and diagnostic fault code. We'll check the details and explain the available mobile service options.
Customer questions
Questions customers ask us
Still unsure? Send us your registration and a photo of the warning on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppWhat is AdBlue Delete?
AdBlue Delete refers to software changes intended to disable SCR operation or monitoring. It does not repair a faulty pump, tank or sensor. What is technically possible depends on the vehicle and ECU; send your registration and any diagnostic report so the specification can be checked.
What is AdBlue Removal?
AdBlue Removal is often used to mean software deactivation rather than physical removal of components. Access methods vary, and work cannot always be completed through the diagnostic socket. Send your registration to help establish the vehicle details.
What is AdBlue Repair?
AdBlue Repair means diagnosing and addressing the underlying fault. Depending on the findings, this may involve wiring, leaks, dosing equipment, sensors or a manufacturer-specified software update. Replacing the tank is not always necessary.
What is an AdBlue Fix?
AdBlue Fix is a general description, not a specific procedure. The appropriate work depends on the fault, test results and vehicle specification. Clearing codes or resetting a countdown alone does not establish that the fault has been resolved.
What vehicle and location details should I send?
Send your full registration and the postcode where the vehicle is parked. The registration helps identify its likely specification, but ECU identification or further vehicle details may still be needed. The postcode lets us check mobile coverage and travel requirements. Some faults need diagnosis before a firm repair quote is possible.
Can I send dashboard photos on WhatsApp?
Yes. While safely parked, photograph the warning message and any remaining-distance countdown. These help us assess urgency, but they cannot confirm which component has failed. Include a diagnostic report if you have one.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency callouts?
Yes. Our standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. Emergency callouts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge applies and is confirmed before dispatch.
